I'm Vadym Bahen, a third-year Applied Informatics student who enjoys turning connected ideas into working software.
My strongest foundation is backend development, but I do not want to stay inside one layer. I build Java services, desktop and browser-facing applications, AI integrations, and database schemas—then connect them into systems people can actually use.

Infobip-mentored project
Built the Spring Boot backend for an AI-powered chat widget with guidance from two Infobip engineers. Integrated REST APIs, collaborated through a Git-based workflow, and ran MySQL with Docker Compose.
OpenAI Build Week
Chrome extension for claim verification. Designed the system architecture and built a Spring Boot backend connected to a Python/FastAPI model service powered by Qwen and DeBERTa.
